Today is . I hope you are having, and continue to have, a wonderful day.
This is the official web site of Gary Tumbiolo. Welcome to my site.

I hope that by accessing my site you can understand the real me, reach out and get to know me.

I live in New York, on Long Island. I consider myself a pretty easy going guy. A little wild but not too crazy. I do audio, video, lighting, editing, and my main skills are tracking & mixing.

I love creating. I write lyrics & music. I like to listen to almost all types of music. I went to recording school over twenty years ago when I had my own band, but when I became a father, I needed quick cash so I started driving a cab instead of interning at a studio, later I did office work.

When my kids were old enough to do their own thing, it gave some time for myself and I began playing guitar again and studying my craft. Then my own father became ill, and I helped take care of him for about seven years or so.

My father has since passed away and I am now finally getting to establish myself. Since those days in audio recording class I have done tracking & mixing as a sideline for extra cash, and many of those years I was a licensed minister with my own ministry. It’s been a few years now since I left the church and I am no longer involved with ministry, but during that time I was doing a lot of live sound and video for various churches. As part of my ministry I also built websites, and made DVD’s and other multimedia such as radio commercials & web video.

In the past, I started working computers with DOS and continued until Windows XP when I got my first MAC. I have had experience with Windows Vista & Windows 7 but I will continue to Be A MAC. I have however had experience with both platforms, and just a little with Linux. I am adaptable and I learn pretty fast.

I still record, in fact, I had recently gone back to recording school for a refresher but financial difficulties coupled with the strange goings on at that school caused me to stop going. I never stop reading and studying whatever I can on the subject of Audio Engineering. I have recently started my business Aural Temple Recording and I am open to finding some good engineering gigs.

I am also seeking a position in an Adult Rock Band (approx. ages 35 - 55) preferably as a sound-man, a bass-player, singing, or playing rhythm guitar. I play by ear, and like I said, I write lyrics and music, so I would like to be a contributing songwriter rather than just a body behind an instrument, therefore, I would rather do originals but I would consider doing covers. A band just forming would be perfect.

My past experience includes; Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Bass, MIDI, Creating and Working With Samples, Digital HD Video & Editing. As stated earlier I am trained in Audio Engineering, I also work in Reason, Pro Tools, and Logic.

I have all my own gear.

Although ideally I am looking for a rock band, I would also consider Vocals or Recording for a Bluegrass band or a Rockabilly Band.

I am available through various sites on the internet.
